PROGRAM
of the 17th Economic Forum of Young Leaders

17TH Economic Forum of Young Leaders
Young Leaders will meet in Karpacz

This is the seventeenth time that the Economic Forum of Young Leaders - partner event of the Economic Forum organized in Karpacz - will be held. This year, the event will be largely devoted to the global consequences of the war in Ukraine.

This year's edition will be held on September 7-9. in Karpacz and Jelenia Góra. About 150 participants from Poland, Ukraine, Belarus, Germany, Nigeria, Ethiopia, Tanzania, Georgia, as well as Azerbaijan will take part in it. Additionally, about 100 people will take part in the online Forum. This year on the Forum we will focus, among others, on the energy security of Poland and Europe in the context of the Russian aggression against Ukraine and on young entrepreneurship in the context of the impending economic crisis. There will also be a place for a discussion about what the leader of the future should be. "Faced with the new reality, there was a need to redefine the role of young leaders, their competences and skills, and to create new ideas on how to use the energy of the young generation for the benefit of all of us."

Our special guest will be Marek Kamiński - founder of the Foundation, and Marek Kaminski Academy. He was the first in the world to reach both poles of the Earth in one year without outside help, for which he holds the Guinness Record. He inspires loads of people in Poland and around the world through books, films, podcasts, webinars, and training programs.

So far, over 4,000 participants from over 30 countries of the European Union, Eastern Europe and the Caucasus have participated in all 16th editions of the Forum.

Leaders of tomorrow

The Economic Forum of Young Leaders

From the very beginning, the Economic Forum of Young Leaders has been striving to involve young people in discussions on the future of Europe and the world, as well as in decision-making processes that shape our reality. During the sixteen editions, thanks to the space for conversation, networking and integration, participants could establish international partnerships, implement joint projects, and even get their dream job. Over the past 16 years, the Forum Program has enriched young participants with knowledge, self-confidence, inspiration for action, and provided perspectives and new contacts. Thanks to this, after many years, many participants returned to the Forum - as event partners, experts and speakers.

THE MAIN GOAL OF THIS YEAR'S EDITION

Stimulating entrepreneurial attitudes, developing public debate on economic, geopolitical, ecological and educational topics, as well as acquiring leadership competences by participants.

PARTICIPANT'S PROFILE

FEML

Participation in the Economic Forum of Young Leaders is a tremendous opportunity to meet like-minded young Europeans who share the common interests and values. Do not miss the chance to meet and discuss with experts and government officials who shape the future of Europe. Forum is very well-organized and it gives you possibility to equally split your time for networking session and panel discussions. These are the main reason why I participated in the Forum for four times in a row and still looking forward to be part of it. See you in Nowy Sącz!

I am very grateful that I got the chance to take part in Economic Forum of Young Leaders since it gave me an opportunity to engage in conversation with people whose opinion I share but also to understand better those who think differently than me and to see that we are more alike than I thought. Also, I was able to see other initiatives across Europe, get inspired and take a piece of that back home with me to my local community. Still thinking? I hope you do not! Apply and see where it will take you!

The Economic Forum for Young Leaders is therefore vital for the younger generation to communicate new ideas and connect with other like-minded individuals who have more experience in business to come up with innovative technologies that benefit society as a whole. I did not expect Poland to be so traditionally stunning; culture, architecture and hospitality, after the Second World War I thought that Poland would be more modern, instead of that I truly got the feeling it kept its beauty that I respect and love about it.
