Invitation for members of academic science clubs


The European Meeting Centre - Nowy Staw Foundation and the Parliament of Students of the Republic of Poland invite representatives and members of academic science clubs to take part in the project "Incubator of Academic Cooperation".

The aim of the project is to raise the competence of 50 members of science clubs from Poland and to strengthen their cooperation network



Participants will take part in 5-day SEMINAR in Nowy Sącz and Krynica.

In addition to the workshops and training program dedicated especially for them, they will also participate in the Economic Forum of Young Leaders, that will take place from 4-8 September 2017, together with other young people (ca. 350) from all over Europe. It will be a great opportunity for networking and international co-operation. During the Forum there will be also a panel discussion devoted to the assumptions of the law of the higher education in Poland. At the end of the project the information campaign will be organized in the national and local academic media across Poland.

Networking – establishment of new contacts and exchange of experiences and information between participants of the project – members of science clubs from all over Poland and also other participants of the Economic Forum

Increasing soft skills of participants, that will develop: the interpersonal communication, ability to define goals and priorities team management and motivation – useful skills for completing their local, national and international projects in the future.

Creating a cooperation network and ideas for common national and international projects and gaining specific knowledge about possible sources of project financing.

Piotr Bucki

trainer, lecturer, coach, manager. He began his first job as an English language teacher at age 16. Then he worked as an advertising specialist during the Shakespeare Festival in Gdansk. From 2001 to 2006 he worked as an actor and assistant of the director at the Music Theater in Gdynia. He was also a marketing director at Gdańsk Psychological Publishing House. In 2010 he joined OPERON Pedagogical Publishing as a project manager. In 2012 he started working with the Nokaut Group, which he completed after a year, deciding to act independently. He graduated from the Faculty of Architecture and Urban Planning at PG, Postgraduate Studies at SWPS in Social Psychology, and at WSB from PR and Affiliate Marketing. He also completed courses at Stanford, Princeton and Michigan University. The area of his activity, that he likes the most, is called by him "communication in its all incarnations”. Verbal, non-verbal and visual communication, in social media, teams, groups, societies ... And his favourite question is: "Why?".

Aneta Szczykutowicz

psychologist, certified trainer, author of many publications in the field of psychology. Trainer of soft skills and effective learning techniques. Lecturer in Lublin Family Life Study - classes in psychology of interpersonal communication. She conducted business training for: IUNG Puławy and Azoty Puławy and soft skills training for various age and occupation groups within EU projects and commercial orders. Experience in didactic work with students of KUL and UMCS University, scientific work - presentations at conferences and their organization as well as coordinating international educational projects for youth. Favourite training topics: team management, effective interpersonal communication, self-presentation, time management and effective goal setting, techniques of effective memorization, self-motivation.

Mirosław Urban

psychologist, business coach, coach, juggling enthusiast. Specialist in unconventional training methods. Author and co-author of "Unconventional Training Methods" (GWP 2010), Juggling Passion (Libropolis 2012). The author of the Juggling Inspiration Program, which uses juggling in the personal development. He treats juggling as an excellent metaphor of learning, challenging, experiencing change, success and relaxation. He specializes in developing personal competencies of employees in educational organizations, public and business institutions. He creates original methods of personal development, helps participants in overcoming their own weaknesses, discovering their mental strength and achieving goals by using and developing their own abilities. His trainings develop the following subjects: creativity as a way of thinking and in action, communication, public presentation, stress coping, team building.
