Nowy Sącz becomes Europe's capital of the leaders of tomorrow

For the 11th time young leaders from all over the Europe are meeting in Poland to debate about the European's future and the future of the young generation. The purpose of Economic Forum of Young Leaders is to create an international think tank consisting of representatives of European future elites who act at a local level in their own countries as well as initiate joint projects that allow to build the better tomorrow.

Participants of the Forum that takes place in Nowy Sącz between the 5th and 9th of September 2016 are leaders of non-governmental institutions, representatives of youth political parties, employers' associations, young research scientists, journalists and entrepreneurs.

Our purpose is to provide an opportunity for leaders who have already achieved a favourable outcomes of their work but are still committed to devotedly work for further development on the international area, both in business and non-governmental sectors. Participants represent both members of the European Union and non-union Eastern Europe countries, the Balkan States and the Caucasus.

This year, among other topics, we plan to rise an issue of entrepreneur start-ups, social economy, self-government council, challenges in labour market and contemporary educational system – both on academic and secondary school level. Our guests along with young leaders will attempt to outline European's prospects in the following decade and the role of next generation in their realization.

The Forum also offers a chance for discussion on seeing new perspectives, implementing innovations, retaining secure economic growth which is important for building a better future for us all. Significant topic of our discussions will concern so called fourth industrial revolution connected with radical industrial automatization and technological development which can significantly influence European and worldwide economy.

As for our future, the very important and influential factor is our present situation. Great part of our meeting will be devoted to finding solutions for present European and world problems like United Kingdom's Brexit, causes and consequences of European migrant crisis, unemployment among young people, geopolitical changes in Europe and crisis in Ukraine.

Above and beyond debates, the Forum will be intertwined with networking sessions for participants. We want to provide an opportunity to make new acquaintances, get to know new institutions and create a friendly atmosphere among participants. From our experience we know that integrity among young leaders develops an active and dedicated community which all together, is able to achieve remarkable goals.

During the Economic Forum of Young Leaders young people can discuss serious European problems, try to solve contemporary European challenges. For the sake of participants representing the world of politics, economics, governing body, young leaders through the discussion among people from different countries have a chance to become acquainted with different points of view, form their own opinions. These skills provide a great fundament not only for the future when they will have to struggle with hard choices concerning European proceedings, but also for now when their ideas see the light of day.

Dialogue and debate are the essence of the Forum. However, the idea behind the form is also finding common solutions of the most important problems in Europe. If the voices of the youth is coherent, it will be more perceptible and it will influent policymakers. The participants of the Forum always come to conclusions that Poland is a beautiful country and that Lesser Poland is a place for enterprising and resourceful people. I hope, that also this time they will fall in love with Poland and establish relationships which will be beneficial for them in the future. It is merely enough and so much. Taking into account so many events, intensive sessions, discussions and opportunities for networking, I believe, that expectations like this are perfectly adequate.
